Tarzan is an archetypal feral child raised in the African jungle by the Mangani great apes. Created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzan first appeared in the novel Tarzan of the Apes and is gracious and highly sophisticated. Tarzan as the film version is mostly depicted as the noble savage ("Me Tarzan, You Jane"), and acted by Johnny Weissmuller. The Predator is a fictional extraterrestrial species featured in the Predator science-fiction franchise, characterized by its trophy hunting of other species for sport.
